- How do we know that Global-Nannies has appropriate available candidates?
- Global-Nannies offers a large selection of Aupairs and Nannies to view with free guest registration. The only difference between the free registration and the paid membership is that the contact information (email, telephone numbers, addresses) is hidden from view.
- How much should I pay?
- You, the family, are responsible for establishing the Aupair/Nanny salary with the candidate. Aupair/Nanny candidates are asked to state their salary expectations in their online profile to assist you in pre screening the candidate database. Remember that experienced nannies are in great demand. However, salaries that escalated in the late '90s have now settled down. The Aupairs average weekly salary for 30 to 45 hours of childcare is AUD$100 to $200 and may be less in other countries. Nannies salary is negotiated with the Family depending on qualification, experience, responsibilites and hours.
Remember Aupairs are gaining more than payment; they receive a great opportunity to enrich their lives by experiencing another culture and language. - What is a Paid Member?
- A paid member is someone who has created their profile on Global-Nannies, and paid their membership fee which gives them access to the contact information of all other Aupair/Nanny profiles or Family profiles dependant on there requirements, and the Members Toolbox which gives them a range of tools to help make your process easy.
- What is an Aupair?
- Aupairs are like big sisters from another interesting country. Aupairs are mothers help. They take care of children as young as new born. From bathing and dressing to feeding and diapering. They take an interest in the education and development of your child. Read, play games, exercise and make sure they get to that band or sport practice.
An aupair can, make all the difference to your family life. Wouldn't an extra pair of hands come in handy? Helping with the housework, cooking occasional meals, looking after the children and babysitting occasionally.
Just imagine how much easier it would be. More time for you to have that quality playtime with your child, or the extra help on family outings.
Your family would also benefit from coming into contact with a different culture and background.
